FISHING COMMITTEE

● Stocking was Saturday, March 29 with 275 12-14 inch rainbows, browns, and tiger trout went in plus two 25-26 inch broodstock fish as well.

● The Annual Youth Fishing Contest (aged 15 and under) will be on Father’s Day (June 15th) from
10a to 12p. Pizza, snacks, and drinks will be served.

● With a great trout season coming to an end, the final count was one tagged trout, caught and kept.

● The bass are now off their beds, and the season is in full swing!

● We encourage everyone who catches a Lake Tamarack bass to release them ,as they are by far
the best game fish that reside in our lake

● For anyone who would like to keep fish to eat, the trout, yellow perch, blue gill, sunfish, and black
crappie all make excellent table fare.
